permanently delete a designer name

often when I type a designer name and misspell, it pops over, then it is "active" and I have to go in and deactivate after I have corrected the file. well I am up to page 4 now. I'd like to remove these misspelled
Example: I type "sd" to get OESD which is on the short list, but sometimes it pops over.
